Sail is an international video collaboration created during the spring and summer months of 2020 during the height of the pandemic. The work is by Anna Dora Dorno, Nicola Pianzola, and Cecilia Seaward and was filmed in Bologna, Italy and upstate New York. Sail explores the isolation of lockdown, the struggle to create during a time of collective grief, as well as the uncertainty of returning to “normal.”
