The theme of this film trilogy, which is the result of a remote collaboration between Instabili Vaganti and three different young Chinese artists, is the journey: memories, impressions, suggestions related to this difficult historical period that we are going through globally, expressed through physical actions, remote choreographies and dialogues in Italian and Chinese. We departed from Xi’an, the gateway to the Silk Road, passing through Wuhan, where the pandemic began, to finally reach Beijing. Like a contemporary Marco Polo, the performer Nicola Pianzola made a symbolic journey, wearing heavy metal wings and meeting in his path, the gaze of the artists involved, who begin to experience the Asian megalopolises again.
